A cold front is approaching the Alps from the north-west and will move across South Tyrol during the course of the day.
In the mountains, it will be partly cloudy with some sunny spells. The first thunderstorms are expected along the western main ridge in the late morning. In the afternoon, rain showers and thunderstorms are expected across all mountain ranges.
Mountain weather tomorrow
The Alps will be affected by north-westerly winds at high altitudes. The foehn will continue to blow on the southern slopes.
In the mountains to the north, visibility will be reduced at times by clouds, and showers are possible along the border ridge, particularly to the east of the Brenner Pass. In the southern mountain ranges, the weather will be mainly sunny. Strong north-westerly winds.

On Thursday, the weather will become progressively more unsettled. In the afternoon, there will be some showers and thunderstorms.
On Friday, too, the weather will remain changeable, with a mix of sunshine, clouds and showers.
On Saturday, the unsettled weather is expected to continue. A few showers are likely again during the day.
